Susan Curtis - Owner - Colorist, ABCH & IBCH (ext. 27)

American Board Certified Haircolorist & International Board Certified Haircolorist. Forty-one years experience, Twenty-Eight years as owner of Susan Alan 2000. Member of International Haircolor Exchange, L'Oreal Technical Partner - Level 1, Master Trainer for Apprentice Program - (training of new apprentice hairdressers).

Advanced Training In: Vidal Sassoon Academy, Jacques Dessage, New York City, Level 1 & 2, Toni & Guy Hair Cutting Technique, Redken Compass Haircutting Technique, Abba Volumetrics, Sebastian Hans-on Haircutting, L'Oreal Professionnel Haircolor and Framesi Haircolor.

Tami Stowell - Co-owner - Stylist (ext. 43)

Fifteen years experience. Apprenticed under master trainer Susan Curtis. Specializes in Bold Color Techniques.

Advanced Training In: American Crew Haircutting for Men, Jacques Dessage, New York City, Level 1, Toni & Guy Haircutting Technique, L'Oreal Professionel and Framesi Haircolor.

Miguel Tejada - Stylist, ABCH & IBCH (ext. 36)

American Board Certified Haircolorist & International Board Certified Haircolorist with eighteen years experience, nine of which have been with Susan Alan Salon. Miguel's specialties are in advanced hair coloring and straightening with a focus on soft beautiful hair color as well as more modern and trendy techniques.

Miguel has trained with Toni & Guy and Wella International specializing in hair color and hair cutting at their training academies in New York City. Miguel has also training in Los Angeles and San Francisco at the Vidal Sasson Academy, the Wella Academy and has studied L'Oreal Professional Haircolor, the Rusk haircutting technique, and Framesi haircolor. He's certified in Bio Ionic hair straightening and other straightening methods.

Maria Spracklen - Stylist (ext. 38)

Twenty-Three years experience. Specialist In: Wedding, Special Occasion Long Hair and Men's Haircutting.

Advanced Training In: L'Oreal Professionnel Haircolor and Framesi Haircolor. Has been a platform artist and educator for Hyashi.

Barbara Levin Jergensen - Stylist (ext. 35)

Twenty-six years experience.

Barbara Levin-Jergensen curly hair specialist. Barbara has educated herself intensively to suit her clientele. This education includes advanced training with L'Oreal professional hair color, Toni and guy academy, framesi hair color and Sebastian. Barbara specializes in all the needs of curly hair. Weather your looking to soften, straighten or just maintain beautiful curly hair. She is certified is Deva curl. cutting and coloring techniques. Bio Ionic straighten systems and keratin smoothing treatment.

Christy Myers - Stylist (ext. 33)

Four years experience.

Advanced Training In: trained with master trainer Susan Curtis, specializing in beautiful haircolor and design. Christy has additional training with L'Oreal Professionnel haircolor and Toni & Guy haircutting classes. She is proficent in the Brazilian Hair Straightening. Christy's passion for haircolor and special occasion hair styling motivates her to continually educate herself and progress forward in her career.

Janie Lilly - Stylist (ext. 44)

Twenty years experience.

Specialist in highlighting. Completed courses in Paul Mitchell Volumetrics. Advanced Training In: Sebastian Haircutting and Color, Redken Color.

Roya Mirchi - Stylist, ABCH (ext. 48)

American Board Certified Hair Colorist- With over twenty-six years experience in this industry, Roya has accomplished many things. Specializing in fine hair Roya has perfected the skills required to accomplish your most difficult style needs.

Advanced Education: Bio-Ionic Hair Straightening Certification, Vidal Sasson Advanced Education, L'Oreal Paris Graduate, Bio Silk Master Colorist, Christoper and Sonya Dove Advanced Education, Patrick Cameron Long Hairdressing School of London Graduate, Rusk Haircutting Technique, Toni & Guy Advanced Academy, Martin Parsons Special Occasion Hairstyling, Energizing Summit Advanced Color, ISO Perm Products and Creator of the Double Piggy Back technique for long hair. Michelle Abelar - Esthetician (ext. 49)

Esthetician - Makeup Artist. Twelve years experience, specializes in bridal makeup, makeup for mature skin and eyebrow styling.

Advanced skin care training from The International Dermal Institute, product knowledge and advance skin care education from Sothys, as well as certified in the Beta X Chemical Peel. Product knowledge and advance skin care education from Jan Marini and Clayton Shagal skin care systems.

Advanced Makeup seminars from Trucco, Bio Elements, Christian McNally, Melanie Lewis, and Lori Neapolitan (Makeup artists to the stars). Michelle continues to take advanced education in makeup and skin care.

Jane Fischer (ext. 39)

Jane is a "Haircolor Specialist" with 9 years experience. She trained and worked at "Cristophe Salon" in Beverly Hills for 7 years.

Jane has completed courses with Paul Mitchell, Sebastian, Redken as well as advanced training with L' Oreal Professionnel. Jane continues to educate herself in color and haircutting so to stay updated and aware of the current trends. She also has a passion for providing more "Ego Friendly" products to her clientele and our industry.

Julie Cook

Julie graduated from the fashion institute,( FIDM L.A.) and worked in the fashion industry before coming to Susan Alan Salon. She apprenticed 2 years at our salon , training under several hairdressers. Julie has been with Susan Alan's for 3 years and enjoys doing long hair and the Balayage technique of highlighting.

Kimberly Hill (ext. 46)

24 years of experience in makeup for print, television, weddings and salons. Kimberly also specializes in facial and body waxing.She continues to take skin care educational classes, and has recently completed courses from Sothys, Clayton Shagal, and Phytomer.

Kimberly trained under Carol Brown, head makeup artist for "Days of Our Lives". Kimberly is currently one of the top makeup artist for Playboy Magazine. She's a talented and gifted artist.

She has taken makeup courses with some of Hollywood's finest, such as Cinema Secrets.She's completed a course in the Mac master's course and Senna.
