"Dimensional coloring is the art of working in space, volume and line. For true 3D effects, try a technique from a trio of pros, who all belong to the great inner circle of color specialists."

"I think we'll continue to see a lot of color in the hair for spring. Women with darker hair will enhance their natural color with warm, rich tones and add panels and pieces to create highlights. Blondes will show a combination of light and dark blonde to medium brown in different areas. I think we'll see everything from beautiful, conservative color to the most vibrant, bold and extreme looks. This will fall into fashion for spring."

"Our salon does a lot of corrective color, mostly for women who've become too blonde. Ninety percent of these colors are brought back to a clean, natural look by using two to three different techniques and being aware as to placement of the colors. We also do a lot of foil work on selected areas of the head to create point of interest, for instance, creating rectangular parting on the top and blonding that section, then going darker as you work down. This creates a beautiful dimensional blonde."
